Our network staff is responsible for phone system support within the county.  Most of our departments are equipped with CISCO (VOIP - Voice over IP) phones. 

VOIP was implemented in 2003.  Our Voice over IP phone system utilizes the existing network cabling.  In addition to the installation of the new equipment, phone line usage and cost inconsistencies were reviewed during the VOIP  implementation, resulting in significant savings.
