WAIVING FEES
There is no fee for proceedings for admission and commitment of
individuals under the mental health code, except for matters affecting an
estate from other than public sources.
After filing of the initial petition, there are no $20.00 fees where the
ward is petitioner or moving party (guardianship and conservatorship).
There are no fees where the petitioner or moving party is indigent or has
an inability to pay. Procedures for determining indigency are
appropriate for local administrative rule. See also MC 20.
