We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Livingston County Senior Nutrition Program. Livingston county offers this nutrition service for senior adults over the age of 60. Each city offers its own congregate and home delivered program through their senior center. There are six centers in Livingston County: Brighton, Howell, Hamburg, Pinckney, Fowlerville, and Hartland. Residents are serviced from their local senior center. All of our meals are nutritionally balanced and approved by the Area Agency on Aging 1-B. The luncheon meal, including homemade breads and desserts which are freshly baked, provide one third of the daily nutritional needs of the senior adult. These tasty, satisfying, and well balanced meals are offered five days a week. THE NUTRITION PROGRAM SERVES TWO PURPOSES:
