1982 Graduate of Fowlerville High School, Fowlerville, MI
1983-1987 Served in the United States Marine Corps, Honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal .
1987-1989 Lansing Community College Criminal Justice/ Police Academy Program
1989 Hired by Riviera Beach Police Dept, Palm Beach County, FL.  Assigned to the Road Patrol.
1992 Hired by Livingston County Sheriff Department assigned to the  Road Patrol.
1993 Received the Sheriff Department's life saving award. 
1996

Appointed Field Training Officer.

1998 Developed, organized and implemented the Sheriff Department first Tactical          (S.W.A.T). Team.
1999 Appointed Firearms Instructor.
1999

Graduated from Western Michigan Criminal Justice Training Consortium, Swat school.

1999 Appointed Tactical Team Leader. Supervised dozens of Tactical raids which resulted in numerous felony arrests.  
2000 Appointed as the first School Resource Officer at Pinckney Community Schools.
2001

Offered both Sergeant and Detective's  promotion after testing.  Accepted the promotion to Detective.

2001 Appointed Patrol Rifle Instructor.
2002 Developed, organized and implemented the Sheriff Department Patrol Rifle Program.
2003

Appointed Taser Instructor.

2003

Developed, organized and implemented the Sheriff Department Taser program.

2005 Graduate Eastern Michigan University School of Police Staff and Command. 
2007 Promoted to Lieutenant, Road Patrol.
