HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION EVENTS (in PDF Format see below to download Adobe Acrobat – Livingston County was one of 10 recipients of the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Grant awarded through the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Clean Michigan Initiative.  This grant allowed Livingston County to establish a permanent collection center in the City of Howell, near the Sheriff’s Department.

Unfortunately, due to the timing of the grant, it delayed the usual HHW collection events.  If you are interested in adding your name to a list to be contacted when the schedule of HHW collection events is known, please call 517-545-9609 or email us with your name and telephone number and/or email address.  If you are moving and need to dispose of materials immediately, visit  Household Hazardous Waste Page for proper disposal options.
