It's skunk mating season and many pets are getting a little too curious for their own good. If your pet gets sprayed by a skunk we recommend that you try this recipe for getting the smell out:
1/4 cup baking soda
1 quart peroxide
1-2 tablespoons dish soap
Mix vigorously in a gallon jug then bathe & rub pet for at least 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

Do you accept donations?

Yes, we accept all donations. We are always in need of newspaper, kitten food, dog & cat treats, rawhides, toys and of course cash. If you'd like to donate toys please be sure they are made of plastic or hard rubber so we can sanitize them.

We are collecting VG receipts for a fund raiser at the shelter. There is no time frame so we will be doing this as long as VG's will give us money. They pay 1% of each receipt not counting alcohol and tobacco. We will spend the money on toys, bones, food and fun stuff for the animals.

Send your VG receipts to Animal Control.
