Network

Not all county employees are connected on the county network, but roughly 400 of them are. This enables them to quickly access data, communicate with each other and run various applications. 

We use a combination of server operating systems from Novell 4.2 to Windows NT and Windows 2000.

Additionally, many can access the Internet via a high speed T1 connection for research and communication purposes.

The CIS department is responsible for ensuring that all of these areas remain fully functional and accountable.
