Hardware

With nearly 50 departments and divisions, we have our hands full keeping everyone's equipment in good running condition.  We troubleshoot hardware problems, fixing what we can and recommending replacements when necessary.

We support a wide range of desktop and laptop computers and their peripherals such as printers, scanners, digital cameras, PDAs, monitors, keyboards, and mice.

We also have to keep a couple of AS 400's running IBM iSeries. Regular backups of the data on these machines is also in our arena of duties.

In 2002 we Installed over 100 new PCs, over 20 new laptops, and 7 new servers.

We also have projectors, digital cameras and laptops available for employees to loan if needed for their county projects.
