Hepatitis A and B Vaccine Information |
|
Hepatitis A and hepatitis B are two additional viruses that
can affect your liver and cause damage, especially in people with hepatitis C.
Hepatitis A and B can be prevented by vaccination, unlike hepatitis C.
Individuals diagnosed with hepatitis C are eligible for a program
(MI-VRP) that will provide these vaccinations.
(An administration fee may be charged.)
The Immunization Clinic at the Livingston County Department of Public
Health is open Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with extended hours until
7 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the
month. No appointment is needed.
