Iosco Township is located within the southwest quadrant of Livingston County. Iosco Township was settled in 1835 and organized into a township in 1838. It is the county's least populated township with 3039 people according to the 2000 census. Agriculture is a big way of life within the township. Iosco has only one population center, the settlement of Parkers Corners. Farmsteads, churches and cemeteries are dotted across the countryside of Iosco Township; one farm includes an unusual round barn. The estimated population for 2007 was 4,203 persons.
