Iosco Township

Iosco Township is located within the southwest quadrant of Livingston County.  Iosco Township was settled in 1835 and organized into a township in 1838.  It is the county's least populated township with 3039 people according to the 2000 census.  Agriculture is a big way of life within the township.  Iosco has only one population center, the settlement of Parkers Corners.  Farmsteads, churches and cemeteries are dotted across the countryside of Iosco Township; one farm includes an unusual round barn.

The estimated population for 2010 was 3,801 persons.
