Lutz Anniversary
Lutz Wedding PhotoFlorence Manthey of Fenton, Michigan (Genesee County) and Owen J. Lutz of Deerfield Township (Livingston County) were married October 5, 1946 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Fenton.  Both of them were 33 years of age.  Owen was a farmer by trade and Florence was a school teacher.

The Lutzs enjoyed several happy years together at their Cohoctah Road homestead.

Owen Lutz and SiblingsMr. Lutz passed away in 2004 at 91 years of age, having willed their homestead  to Livingston County.   He had lived on the property for over 60 years. It was Mr. Lutz's vision that both the natural and farmed areas of his land continue to be used as such.  The 302Owen & Cow acre Lutz County Park is located in the northwest corner of Deerfield Township on Cohoctah Road.
