While attending a Livingston County Meeting this month, the topic of the L.E.T.S. (Livingston Essential Transportation Service) program was discussed. This is a transportation service for all of the residents of Livingston County. The program provides dial-a-ride service for all of your transportation needs i.e. doctor appointments, shopping, banking, etc. They also provide service to local dialysis centers, regional service to Ingham, Genesee, Oakland and Washtenaw counties for medical appointments. L.E.T.S. vehicles are lift-equipped to meet your mobility needs. For fares, routes and scheduling information call 517-546-6600 or visit their website. If you are at least 60 years of age, you ride at a reduced fare. The hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. This is a great program that is offered to you as a resident of Livingston County. Be sure to give them a call to see if they can assist you in getting where you need to be. |
