LCDSAM/CADETS Program Post 373

The LCDSAM Cadets Program Post 373 is a mentoring program designed for young adults who may want to pursue a career in Law Enforcement. This program will give young adults ages 14 to 21, an opportunity to experience Law Enforcement responsibilities and functions first hand. It is the hope of the Livingston County Sheriff Department to provide young adults with as much information about law enforcement as possible so they can decide if law enforcement is the right career choice for them.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:  Must be a minimum of High School Freshman to age 21.  Minimum grade point average of 2.00.  Maintained appropriate school attendance and behavior.  MUST have a letter of recommendation from school staff or Law Enforcement related professional accompanying your application and fee.

Limited space available only those seriously considering a career in law enforcement should apply. 

The goal of LCDSAM Cadet Program Post 373 is to help develop young people into responsible, caring adults who may want to seek a career in Law Enforcement.
