Great Lakes National Cemetery

The new 544 acre VA cemetery north of Holly is a nearby asset for Livingston county veterans and their spouses where burials are provided without cost.  It is in a beautiful rolling hills country setting around a small lake, with upright white marble grave markers.  There is an Avenue of Flags at the entrance, a public information center, committal shelters, a columbarium wall, and memorial walkway by the lake.
